LEFT HAND POINT

Left Hand Point is both a highly productive and hugely comfortable swim. The surrounding trees and shrubs create shade in the summer and shelter in the winter. This is the ideal swim to have a social with a fellow angler bivvied in right hand point. Depths are 10ft – 70yds out, with the bottom being mainly firm clay with spots of softer silt here and there. One of the most popular swims in the winter months, a quick flick through the catch reports show just how much form this swim has.

Left hand edge of swim is Royal Box willow. Right hand boundary is LH end of island. Limit is 20 wraps.
