LOG SWIM

Located opposite the anglers lodge, the Log Swim is often neglected due to the walk involved and the popularity of The Royal Box to its left. Hidden away among trees, bushes and pampas grasses, those who angle here regularly reap the rewards. Commanding a large part of the shallower water with depths averaging 6-8ft, Carp regularly patrole through here, traveling from the deeper end of the lake up towards the shallows and vice-versa. Features include a small raised gravel area at 30yards to the right and margins brimming with cover including reeds, overhanging trees and bushes.
